more visitors, sleepless nights and weight gain

Baths are pretty cool. At least that seems to be the sentiment from Cassidy. She cooed and smiled as Mom and Dad sweated it out in the sauna that was our bathroom.

It was a week of firsts: First bath, first nail trimming experience (Dad took the reins on that one after a few too many scratches on his chest...) First family outing in the minivan (best-laid plans for a scenic drive through Westhampton were thwarted when Cassidy made it clear that she would rather get out of her car seat and eat, what a shocker)























Oh yeah, it appears that at least a couple of my genes made the cut...

Cassidy is now up to 9lbs. 8oz!!! Holy piglet!

So, the other day Alyssa and I ventured out for our very first outing sans Cassidy. What did we do? Good question! Did we go to for a romantic dinner, grab a few drinks at our favorite pub? Nonsense, we went to Babies R Us of course!
